Originally a 1949 bungalow typical of Metro Detroit neighborhoods, the home (located in Birmingham, Michigan) has been thoughtfully reimagined into a striking contemporary form. 

❋ Visual Interest

The front façade is defined by a tall, steep gable, contrasted by a darker, vertically sided volume that adds depth and visual interest.

❋ Contemporary

Large, grid-style windows create a contemporary feel while allowing for generous natural light, and the centered entry, featuring a sleek double glass door under a subtle metal overhang with recessed lighting, adds a polished focal point.

❋ Character

A combination of smooth siding, dark trim, and a brick base grounds the design, while the clean, structured landscaping enhances the home’s updated, architectural character and curb appeal.
